We had a wonderful day. It was the kid's Spring break and we went to Pololu Valley and hiked to a beautiful black sand beach. The weather was sunny when we started out and we had a picnic. Eventually it rained on us and got very windy. There were rope swings that the kids found and had fun swinging on. There was a beautiful forest with tall trees. The cliffs coming out of the ocean were spectacular. We drove through the Kohala mountains on the way home. It was so green and we could see forever.

On Valentine's Day we took the kids out on a boat to go whale watching. We saw dolphins and humpback whales. We even got out and swam with the dolphins. It was so cool to see them swimming by underwater. Everyone had a great time and the weather was so perfect.

The kids are all back in school today after a three week break. We had a wonderful vacation. Christmas was so fun and we were able to do a lot of things during the break. We took the kids to Mauna Kea to play in the snow. It was so beautiful up there. The kids really enjoyed themselves.

Ken and I had an opportunity to ride horses when we picked up Zion from a birthday party, during the Christmas break. All the girls got to ride horses. They all had a wonderful time and the ranch was so beautiful. It had been almost a year since we left our horses on the Mainland. It felt good to be back on a horse again. Ken really loved it!

Here's the cradle! Last week I finished washing the bedding for the cradle. I also got out all the newborn baby girl clothes. I put all the clean baby clothes in a big plastic bag and I even packed a suitcase for that special day, so I'll be ready at a moment's notice. Nauvoo was so excited to see all the baby girl clothes!
As you can see the cradle is in our bedroom. I like to have the baby close so I can make sure she is fine. Babies are more secure that way. I don't like it when babies are left alone to cry themselves to sleep.
We are all getting excited for Christmas! We hope you are enjoying this Christmas season with friends and family.
Love Always, Angela

Here I am in Death Valley just three days before I miscarried my baby. This was my third miscarriage. I was 16 weeks pregnant but the baby had died just after an ultrasound at 12 weeks. We thought everything was okay since the baby was healthy at 12 weeks. It was very sad to loose this baby, but it was even sadder when I almost died from hemorrhaging the day after, because of a retained placenta. Ken was convinced that I should not risk my life again with another pregnancy. I was pretty convinced too. I'm so grateful to be alive to take care of my family. I know it's a miracle that I am alive today! I love being a mother more than anything else in the world! I'm so excited to have the opportunity to be a mother again through the wonderful miracle of adoption!
Happy to be alive, Angela

I lost my first tooth about two weeks ago. I was very excited! And I got a dollar from the tooth fairy. I have another wiggly tooth next to the one that fell out.
Love, Nauvoo
P.S. I am excited to see AsiaJane!!!
