Happy Halloween!!
We went to a Halloween party last night & had a great time!! We dressed us as Jon & Kate+8, which is just so ironic in so many ways! Everyone there was dressed too. One of our friends came as Gene Simmons from KISS which was awesome because we didn't know it was our friend at first!! Everyone had fun. Sometimes it's fun to just dress up especially if everyone else is dressing up too!!

Today was just gorgeous outside. Susan went to Wisconsin to see our Godchildren and spend time with their mom. The ride there was just so beautiful with all the trees changing colors and the sun was so nice & warm for a change. It was a great day!

So today I, Susan, got to go to see Oprah!! I had gotten tickets to see her show so I took my Mom ( of course) my Sister & a friend. It was awesome! The show it's self wasn't the best topic but being in the studio and seeing Oprah in person was really cool! We all thought that she was so little ( she always looks so big on TV) and she was so nice to the audience. After the show was done taping she stayed & took questions from the audience, which was totally unexpected since the show wasn't that great, and then it was over. We went to lunch and had such a great time discussing all the details of the experience.
It was a really great day & I'm glad I got to take my Mom!

Today we are just enjoying the day with a bike ride and grilling. Then relaxing!!! We love holidays!

I, Susan, just spent 3 days at Lollapalooza! I went with my best friend Jenny and it was awesome! Srdjan is more of the home body so he was OK with me spending time with my friend especially since the weather was wet on Friday & super hot Saturday and Sunday. It was great! I got to see Depeche Mode, Yeah Yeah Yeahs & Jane's Addiction!!! The only problem is I am so wiped out. All that standing & walking in the heat takes a lot out of you. But I can say I went, saw & enjoyed the bands. I was amazed at how many people brought their kids, it was kinda weird. Anyways, this is probably the last time I'll be going unless I get a free ticket! Haha! In the end I'm glad I went!

We had such a great weekend! All our close friends came over for a BBQ at our house. It was a beautiful day for a party! We had 6 kids under the age of 6 and they had so much fun running in the sprinkler, laughing & playing. It was really nice to see everyone having such a good time!

Yesterday I, Susan, had knee surgery. Apparently I had a torn meniscus in my right knee and had it for some time now. It finally became so painful I need to take care of it, so I did. Surgery was a success and now the healing begins with physical therapy. I really wanted to have this taken care of so I can move around better for when we get our baby. Hopefully that dream will happen soon for us.

Today is our 6 year Anniversary!! I can't believe it's been 6 years already, how time flies. We are celebrating by going out to dinner and enjoying each others company. Hopefully on our next anniversary we will have an addition to our family!!

Today is Srdjan's Birthday and it's a beautiful sunny day!
We just got back from our vacation from Arizona. It was really a cool place. First we were in Phoenix where it's really warm and has lot's of cactus, then we went up to the Grand Canyon which was awesome but it was freezing there!! We've never experienced such a place that had so many different climates. It was truly very awesome though. Hopefully one day we can take our child there and they can have the same experience what we did.

This has been a very exciting month for Susan.
I had Lasik eye surgery and now I can see without glasses or contacts for the first time in a very long time!
Srdjan's been great & supportive of my decision to have it done. The very first night was so great & weird at the same time. I had woke up and looked at the clock on my night stand & could totally see it!! Usually I would have to squint & then feel around on the night stand to find my glasses but this time I didn't have to do that. What a great feeling! This was one of the best decisions I've ever made!

I can't believe that it is already February. Wow, time seems to be flying by! Last night was the Super Bowl and what an exciting game it was! We celebrated by having a few friends over even though we aren't huge football fans, it gave us a reason to have a get together. Plus we like to see the commercials & half time show. We did want the under dog to win, Arizona, but it didn't happen. Maybe next year....

Today they say there is going to a blizzard outside!! Scary! Then it's going to get really cold! All I can think about is how nice it would be to go some place warm like Aruba, our favorite place!! Oh well, I guess I can dream....

Happy New Year!! We hope that this will be the year that we complete our dream of having a family.

It's very cold out today! I think it's -2 outside right now, burrr.
We've been very busy lately the holiday season, Christmas shopping for all our nieces & nephews & visiting friends. We just drove up to Wisconsin yesterday to see our Godchildren and it was so cold!! The snow was drifting across the roads which made it kind of scary to drive but we made it and the kids where so happy because they got their Christmas gifts!!

Today we woke up to snow! How perfect is it for the 1st day of December to have snow!! It looks so pretty with the Christmas lights on and the snow in the background, just love it!

Today is the day that 6 years ago Srdjan ask me to marry him! I'll always remember it because it was the day before Thanksgiving and what a great Thanksgiving it was!
