This weekend we went to the local corn maze. It was really fun this year. At one point you have to choose to go right and go over the bridge or go left. Josh thought the bridge was too obvious so we went left and got lost. We celebrated finding our way out with a bag of kettle corn.

We took some new family pictures today. We love taking our pictures out in open fields and around the family farm.

We went to another Families Supporting Adoption activity today. They are so fun to get together with. We can't wait until we have children to play with the other kids there, they are so fun to watch.

Today we went to the Field House of Natural History. We find nature fasinating and like to look back in the past at the dinosaur museum. It was a great day.

We have a new nephew! Josh's little sister just had her 2nd boy.

Josh's family had a family reunion this weekend. We spent 4 days camping, eating, and just being together. It was so much fun. We can't wait until we can bring our children to family events where they can play with aunts, uncles, nephews, and cousins!

Family picture with Josh's family, minus his brother who is serving a mission in South Africa.

Our family picture at the reunion. We hope that next year we will have another family member in this picture with us.

Sitting around the campfire and telling stories.

Josh and his mom watching a movie with our nephew. Josh's parents love being grandparents and Savannah's parents can't wait to be grandparents.

Our nephew came over for a little while today. We had lots of fun playing with blocks and then blowing bubbles.

Here is another picture of us at the Families Supporting Adoption Conference this weekend.

This weekend we attended the National Families Supporting Adoption Conference. It was so fun to be with so many other families that have been touched by adoption.

We took a camping trip this weekend. It was so much fun. The fishing wasn't the greatest, but we still caught a few fish.

We had to hike about 8 miles to our camp. It was my first time hiking and it was harder than I thought it would be. But it was well worth it. We were able to see new country and it was all so beautiful.

We went fishing with Josh's family today. They've been trying to help our nephew catch his first fish. What they needed to do was take Savannah, she has the best luck fishing. And it worked. She helped him reel in his first fish. They ended up catching 3 fish together.

Savannah had so much fun fishing with our nephew. Hopefully they can be fishing buddies for life. It was an awesome day.

Josh loves to fish for crawdads. The water had gone down a bit since the last time we were there so in order to catch them in the net, he had to climb down between two rocks to get to the water. He must have done that 20 times that day.

We love getting snow cones in the summer!

A few times a year we try to get together with other families that are affected by adoption. We always have the best time. We think it's important to have friends whose families came together through adoption so our children will know other kids who are adopted too.

This is our favorite camping spot. We can't wait to get some camping trips in this summer. We already have a few planned and will probably go even more than that.

We got a dog a few weeks ago. We love her so much. She is so much fun to play with. We are teaching her sit and lay down. She does those pretty good if she can see us holding a treat. The cats are slowly adjusting to her. Hopefully they can all become good friends.
We went to the Phantom last night. It was awesome. It was different than the movie, but just as good. We will probably go again if it comes again. Now I want to go to Beauty and the Beast .
We are launching this website on a wing and a prayer that our family will be able to grow through the miracle of adoption.
