We went to a swim party tonight. Emily loved having her daddy in the pool with her!

We just got back from our family reunion. It was great!

On Memorial Day we visited "Baby Animal Days" at a local park. Emily loved petting baby chicks, ducks, goats, and bunnies.

I just got this photo back of Emily. I can't believe she's already 18 months old. She's going to be a great older sister!

We had so much fun on our cruise last weekend! We left Emily home with her aunt and cousin and went from Ft. Lauderdale to Cozumel, Mexico. We were so happy to leave to snow behind and get some sunshine. Now we need to work off all of those buffets!

I ran the Moab half marathon today. It was really fun and I felt good about my time. My childhood friend Jenni met me there and it made it really fun.

Emily is learning so many new words. She loves to practice them, and she loves talking on the phone. She always says "hi" first, then babbles on. I wonder where she learned that?

Helen takes Emily jogging frequently in the jogging stroller. In the winter, this requires extra bundling. Yesterday while jogging, Emily said "hot" to complain that she had been over dressed.

Emily was laughing really hard at her daddy's version of "itsy bitsy spider" during her bath last night. Too cute!

We just met with our new case worker at LDS Family Services. We really like her! She helped us get the paperwork we need to get our profile up on parent profiles, and we are excited to start our next adoption journey.
