David & Tanyaprofile id #24078

We just got professional family photos taken. We were in a fun outdoor location with train tracks and old buildings. It took us a week to find outfits that all went together in the colors we wanted. Nathan fell asleep on the way to the photography location, so he had a hard time being happy. He and Emma are so fun though. We didn't get many pictures (if any of them) both smiling at the same time, but it was still fun. I (Tanya) thought Dave looked great in his striped shirt.
Here is a little note from Nathan's Birthmother -
Dave and Tanya were an answer to my prayers. I love them and their families. I know that Nathan is where he is ment to be and they all belong together as a family. I know that Nathan is loved, I also know that Dave, Tanya, Emma and Nathan love me as well. Dave and Tanya not only love me as the birthmother to Nathan, but they love me for me. They are such wonderful people and only want what is best for me in life. They are supportive of everything positive in my life. They are thoughtful of me now, and were very thoughtful of me during my pregnancy and the placement process. My healing was and still is important to them. I love the relationship that we have built together, it is very meaningful to me. I am so greatful to have them in my life and that Nathan will always know who I am and that I love him.
Thoughts from Nathan's birth grandmother.
Our Daughter selected Dave and Tanya to be the parents of her little boy that she placed for adoption 2 years ago. They are the most amazing and wonderful parents that you will ever meet! We are very fortunate to be part of their lives. Tanya is a cute mother and lets that be her first priority! You can truly tell that she loves being a mother and takes this seriously. Dave is so kind and gentle and fun to be around. He wants their kids to have opportunities to learn and grow from. Together they make a wonderful home that is so appropriate for children. They spend good quality time with their kids and they really enjoying doing things with them. My favorite story is when Dave took Nathan to the BYU football game when he was about a year old…just so they could have some bonding time and Tanya and Emma could have some mother daughter time. A man taking a baby to a football game? Yea…that is the kind of dad he is! Their home is so inviting and you can feel their love for each other as well as for their children. Tanya is a stay at home mother and really enjoys being home to help nurture and love her children.

We are so excited to adopt again. We love the experiences we have had with adoption up to this point and look forward to continuing to build our family through adoption. One of the things we love most is getting to know our children's' birth families and developing relationships with them. We started a family blog last year for many reasons, including our desire to keep Emma's and Nathan's birth families updated on what we are doing. If you would like to get to know us better please feel free to check out our blog.
Here is a letter written by Emma's birth mother.
Hello, my name is Jackie. Dave and Tanya are the adoptive parents of my beautiful daughter Emma. Dave and Tanya are such genuine people. They are very caring to Emma as well as to me. The way they raise my daughter is exactly the way I would have wanted to raise her. They are very sentimental which is very helpful to my healing. They let Emma write me cards or type on the computer when they send me emails. They let her know who I am. I can't tell you how much that means to me. They are sweethearts. I can't express to you how much I love them and care for them. My daughter is in the right place and I have no doubts about that. I know that Dave and Tanya will treat each of their children equally with love and attention. They are wonderful people and wonderful parents.
