Avery started preschool today. She has patiently waited to start in MAY! It was a way of getting her potty trained. I told her that only girls who are potty trained go to schoo. And that was all it took! She got it done and is now in preschool. She loves it and is starting to learn the alphabet. It fun to see her love learning but it kind of is bitter sweet for me. She's growing up.

We had a family outing with Jason's family to a giant slip-n-slide like the ones we had growing up. It was really fun. It was so big that a tube holding 8 people could sail down the hill. Avery loved every minute of it and by the end of the night she was going by herself. We had such a fun time that we are going again before the summer ends.

We had a great time on the 4th of July. We got together with my family and let the kids swim and we then had a barbecue. This was the first year that Avery was really interested in fireworks so we stayed up to watch the firework show. It is fun to relive things through your child!
