Wow! We have been busy! We had some friends over for Fourth of July for dinner and fireworks, our neighborhood does the best fireworks, it went on for almost 45 minutes! It is one of our favorite times in our neighborhood!
We have some exciting news, we are going to Australia! Kyle's brother and his fiance, Kelly, live in Australia and are getting married in September. They have decided to move back to the states after they get married so we knew we had to visit soon! We are going for two weeks at the end of July and are very excited.
However, we could be convinced to cancel the trip if a baby comes along! :)

Next week, we are going to Colorado with Austin's mom and her husband, Dick and his daughter and her family. We are going to celebrate the life of Dick's mother who passed away last year but we are looking forward to spending time with family.

We had a great time this past weekend at a good friend's wedding. Kyle was in the wedding and it was held on Marco Island. We got to spend the weekend with old friends and had so much fun! Austin got a little sunburned, but what else is new! This is a picture of us the night of the wedding, it was a beautiful service and reception.

Today is our 9th anniversary! We celebrated last weekend with a wonderful dinner out! We can't believe it is 9 years already, time has flown by. Hopefully, we can celebrate our 10 year anniversary as a family!

Austin's cousin, Ashley, got married and we had a wonderful time at the wedding and were so blessed to spend the weekend with family in Virginia. After the wedding, we went to visit Kyle's parents and celebrate both of their birthdays! Kyle's older brother, JP, and his friend Julie were there too. It was a great weekend and we surprised Kyle's parents with tickets to the Jimmy Buffet concert for their birthdays!

We are so excited to have our home study finished and approved and to be officially waiting! It all feels so real now and we can’t wait to be parents. We have told more family and friends about our decision to adopt and everyone is so excited for us and so supportive. In the next few months, we will have several opportunities to see many of them so we are grateful for that. We feel very loved and blessed!
