Emily is what I consider a “super-aunt” because of her great rapport with my children and her commitment to them demonstrated through spending time with them and listening to their concerns. Alejandro has quickly become a favorite with the kids in the family, especially the boys, playing cards with his teen-aged nephews and football with the under-10 crowd. My daughter loves him, too, competing with Emily for his affection since she was 3-years old!

For those seeking a stable, loving home for their child with two caring, mature, and loving parents, I couldn’t imagine a better choice than Emily and Alejandro.

Our family has known Emily for the past 15 years. She is an extremely patient, faithful, and gentle person of the highest integrity. She is also diligent and hard working.

Emily first came into our lives as our daughter’s flute teacher. She has mentored and nurtured our daughter from the time she was seven years old. Our daughter is now a senior in college. She cared for our daughter as if she were her own, in a loving way, always patient (even when our daughter forgot to practice her flute) and faithful (never missing a lesson in over 10 years). Emily has the unique ability of being able to bring out the best in a child. Because of her special way with children, she soon became the most popular flute teacher among many discerning parents. Parents lined up – waiting for a time when Emily could be their child’s flute teacher. Because of her diligence and hard work, she soon was promoted in her work.

Of all the people that I know, Emily would make the best choice to be a mother. She teaches the Suzuki Method of flute, which not only develops a child intellectually, but also nurtures the emotional and spiritual aspects. Emily is the real deal. She cares with her heart, mind and soul. She is accustomed to seeing the unique light within each child and capable of making each child grow to their highest potential.

When Emily first met Alejandro, our family was thrilled. We soon fell in love with him as well. Alejandro is a sensitive, caring person. He is gentle and kind, yet possesses great inner strength. Both Emily and Alejandro have an abiding faith and a love that can weather any storm.

I am the parent of a ten year old son who came to us through adoption. I have never loved anyone the way I love him.

Now Emily & Alejandro want to be able to give a home and love to a child born of another.

I have known Emily for six years and Alejandro for five years. Emily is my son's flute teacher. I have watched her interact and work lovingly with my son every week for those six years. In Emily, I have observed kindness, patience, sincerity, peacefulness, and affection towards my son and towards all of the children whom she teaches. I know that Emily will be a wonderful mother one day. What a blessing it would be to your child if he or she becomes her child.

Alejandro has been at many music functions supporting Emily and taping her performances with the children. He will be right next to Emily as they parent. They will be a strong, loving set of parents. Alejandro is loved by his nephews and nieces and he is a loving and caring son to his own parents.

Uncle Alejandro and Aunt Emily are fun people! Both of them like to play long games of Monopoly with me. Sometimes I'll throw a football around with Uncle Alejandro, and he is the person who got me into baseball! Aunt Em was the first person to teach me how to play Backgammon which is one of my favorite games. She has also given my little sister and my cousin flute lessons. Sometimes me, Aunt Em and Uncle Alejandro will just talk about books like The Lord of the Rings and Ergon. All in all they're great people and I wish we lived closer to them so I could see them more often.

Aunt Emily and Uncle Alejandro are very good with children. They play games including the interests of the child they are playing with. They read appropriate books to younger children, and are willing to let the child read if he/she wants to. I remember having lots of fun with them when I was younger and I still do now. Aunt Emily and Uncle Alejandro are very supportive and kind. I think they would make wonderful parents!

We have observed Emily & Alejandro interact with their nieces and nephews. They exhibit love and patience in playing with our younger family members and give freely of their time. We have complete trust and faith in their decision-making abilities and care. They are both loving and caring individuals and always put the needs of others before their own. Emily & Alejandro are deeply in love with each other. You can see the love in their eyes when they are together. They are both extremely eager to welcome a child into their family.
