Paul & Erinprofile id #24631

Today is Paul's Birthday and he finished final exams last night!! He only has a week to relax, but we're looking forward to a good time this weekend. We have been in contact with a few birth moms, but tomorrow (Friday) will be the first time meeting with a birth mom. The family is so awesome and we're really excited to meet her. We area flying to Idaho tomorrow and spending some time with our families as well as meeting the birth mom. We hope they like us and bless us the greatest gift in the world. Bye for now.

Erin was in Arizona this weekend for a dental conference, so it was pretty quiet around the house. I just watched football and did homework for most of the weekend. Erin got back Sunday and we went up to our condo in Park City to talk to the renters that are moving out this month. It was a nice drive with all the trees Turning different colors. We have been in contact with a couple birth moms which has been awesome. We look forward to hearing from you all. We hope all is going well and you're having a great Fall.

This is our favorite time of year. It's finally starting to cool down and we can sleep with the window open instead of turning on the Air Conditioner. The Utah weather has been great this week and we're able to take comfortable walks around the lake. Erin is out of town this weekend for a dental conference in AZ, so I am going to be doing all the errands and watching a lot of football this weekend. We were contacted by a birth mom and we've been exchanging emails. We so excited that adoption could become a reality sometime in the near future. Please know that you are all in out prayers. Have a great week!

Paul's mom was in town from San Diego and his sister was in town from Boise this weekend. Paul's mom is originally from Utah ans still has a lot of family in the Salt Lake Valley. We got together with most of them this past weekend. Then Paul shuttled his mom around town on Saturday to visit a few people. But, Paul made sure that he was home in time to watch the BYU football game. It always makes for a good weekend when BYU wins! Paul's mom is heading back to Boise with his sister, so they were just here for the weekend. It was fun to catch up with them. Paul's sister was the one that set us up on our first date about 5 years ago.

This is my favorite time of the year. It's time for college football again. Don't ask me why, but I go crazy for this stuff. The BYU/OU game starts in less than 2 hours and I'm trying to keep my pulse at normal levels! Here we go BYU football!!!
Erin and I spent the last weekend waiting at Snowbird Ski resort for her dad to finish the 1000 Warriors Bike Race. He thought he would be able to complete the 100 mile race in about 5 hours, but it ended up being more like 7 hours. So, we had fun waiting for him to cross the finish line. After the race, he helped us get our rental property ready for our next tenants that move in next week. The yard needed a lot of work, but looks great now. We always seems to be working and I think it's time for a mini vacation. We are heading to San Diego for Christmas, but I think we need to take a long weekend trip somewhere and not worry about work, business or school for a change. Hope you all are doing great!

Last night we ran around the lake we live on. It was so beautiful near sunset. We just talked about everything as we ran the 4 mile loop. We feel so blessed in so many ways and we look forward to becoming parents. It's been a couple weeks since we've been active here. There has been so much traffic to our profile but we haven't been contacted yet. We figure it's only a matter of time. We've been so busy with work, school, working-out, and rental properties, that we haven't spent too much time thinking about adoption (which is a good thing). We know that we'll get contacted someday and it will change our lives forever. Right now is just about staying positive and preparing as much as we can. This weekend is the big bike race Paul has been looking forward to. Then we're off to watch the final day of the Tour of Utah (professional bike race).

Our profile was activated today on ParentProfiles.com! We are very pleased with the response so far. We're so excited that this is becoming reality. It has taken so long to get all the paperwork done, we can't believe that it's finally real. If you're a birthmom, please know that we are humbled that you are even considering us as potential parents. We look forward to a lifelong relationship with our birthmom. Good luck.

First day - building my profile. We were approved for adoption by LDS Family Services last week. We're trying to get exposure in as many places as possible. We can't wait to become parents!
