Fall has arrived here in Texas. Fall is my favorite time of year! I absolutely love pumpkins, turning leaves and the cooler weather. Stephen and I just hosted our 7th annual Pumpkin Carving Party! It was lots of fun and the kids even bobbed for apples this year! It is so awesome to see how creative all of our friends can be as well as see the kids get so excited when we light the pumpkins all at once.

I am keeping busy running, practicing yoga and learning to sew! I ran one 20K early September but I don’t have any other running races planned as of now. Learning to sew is my next adventure. Stephen finished his epic mountain bike race in Colorado late summer. I coordinated his support for the day! (food and Gatoraid etc.) It was a great day and we made wonderful memories!

The nursery is coming along nicely. I searched and searched for a nursery design that would work for both a boy or girl. I never found one that I just loved so…… I have found a perfect boy fabric and also the cutest girl fabric and I am having the bumper and bed skirt made in both of them. I also can’t help but buy some baby clothes here and there! This way we will be ready for a boy or a girl! Stephen has done a beautiful job building the changing table/dresser for the nursery. It is simply perfect. We should be able to move it in to the baby’s room from Stephen’s workshop this week!

We are doing our best to “wait well” for our bundle of joy.
