Yesterday Olivia & I had a full day of shopping & errands. It was a long day but on the way home Olivia said, "We had a good day today, Mommy." I always try to include a fun lunch & some kind of treat. Usually it's ice cream but yesterday we got hot chocolate. Yum!

Today we are all hanging at home and tonight Olivia gets an overnight at grandma & grandpa's. She is so excited!! It's always fun to get spoiled by the grandparents! Mom & dad have to shop for a birthday present.

Craig is at work & Olivia & I are hanging out at home today. Olivia was in the mood to do puzzles so we did a ton! After her nap we will go for a bike ride. We want to take advantage of the nice weather before winter hits.

We got back last night from a 4 night camping trip with a group of friends. We had a great time! Olivia played with her friends the whole time. Craig & Olivia did some swimming even though it was freezing! We took a hike around the lake as a family, played games, & ate lots of smores.

Grandma & our nephew from Iowa came up to visit this week. It was a little vacation before he goes back to school. Olivia was so excited for them to come...she could hardly stand it! We had a great time. Olivia & Ryan have a ball together & my mom & I love to chat.

We visited them in Iowa a couple weeks ago also and visited my old county fair. Olivia loved watching my niece show he dog & all of her cousins show cattle, plus all of the great fair food & fun. Summers are a great time to do fun stuff together.
