Grandma babysat Jayla while we went to a Huanted House! It was a lot of fun! It had lots of optical illusions and cool stuff. Kristen was scared but Michael never was ;)

Kristen got her haircut the other day. She cut it shorter than it has ever been! She cut off enough to donate it to Locks of Love. We all like it! Jayla sure noticed that Mommy's hair is shorter and now she has to run her fingers through it all the time.

We took Jayla to the zoo yesterday for the first time. She loved it! She knows many of the animals by name and what sounds they make so it was fun seeing her recognize them. Her favorite was the monkeys and the giraffes. She loved watching them eat.

This was one of our trips this year. We went to go see the Mississippi River along with some other sights. We went with Michael's family. We had a lot of fun.
