We spent the day with our 'niece' today. The picture above shows her as a baby and I can't believe she is already five! The weather was gorgeous so we started with a trip to the Children's Nature museum, then lunch and a snack at a cupcake cafe followed by a quick jaunt through the zoo before they closed. After some much needed 'down time' in the car (and a few zzzz's from her), we ended the day with dinner. A fun day was had by all!

We celebrated our wedding anniversary tonight by going out to dinner at a new restaurant. Very low key but still enjoyable. It is hard to believe that it has been 9 years!

Another date night. This time we went on a local ghost tour. It was chilly but got us in the mood for the upcoming holiday!

We tried something new tonight: couples yoga. It was a fun date night!

Tonight we went to the Celtic Festival and listened to some live Celtic music as well as watched some Celtic dancing. Beautiful weather!

We went out to a pre-season Bears and Giants game tonight. It was a beautiful night!
