We have been having wonderful weather the last few days and we are taking advantage of it by playing outside as much as we can. Today we went to Nate's parents house and took a tractor ride. Driving the tractor is one of Carter's all time favorite things and he actually steers most of the time. He even turned it around all by himself. It was fun to hook up the trailer and all ride together in the hay field. Being a California girl I never could have guessed I would be living in Kentucky with a toddler learning to drive a tractor!

Halloween was so much fun this year. It was Carter's first real trick or treat experience. He loved every minute of it. He was a bunny rabbit (much to Nate's disapproval). Although not a real macho costume, hey, you are only 2 once right? Anyway, he hopped up to several people's porches and was thrilled to show us each and every piece of candy he received. He was adorable and even kept his ears on the whole time.

Nate has been working hard landscaping our front yard. He built a really great rock wall and filled the area with a tree and some plants. He is now working on pavers next to the driveway and another spot for some more plants. It is so nice to have our yard looking so great!

Today our playgroup went to the pumpkin patch. It was a little bit muddy, but everyone had a good time. There were lots of animals to pet, see, and feed. The highlights for Carter were the tractor ride and letting the goats eat out of his hands.

Carter's grandma just got a kitten and Carter is having so much fun playing with him. He carries him around in one arm everywhere he goes. The cat has been wonderful considering the man-handling it has received on Carter's part. I'm just glad he is at grandma's house since I am allergic to cats.

We spent a fun day at the theme park near our house last week. Carter was actually tall enough to ride a bunch of things this year. He was just barely 36". His favorites were the helicopters and a real steam engine train.
