Enjoying a relaxing Father's Day weekend. So grateful that we are parents and get to truly enjoy this weekend. We can't wait until we are the parent's of 2
We are enjoying some family quality time this weekend while remembering our Veterans! Happy Memorial Day!

We had some friends over to break in the playset. All of the boys had a great time! Can't wait until Ryan has a sibling to play with.

It was a great day! Angela spoke at an adoption conference to help other couples with the adoption process and Scott finished the playset! Now we just need a sibling for Ryan to play with.

The slide is up! Now waiting on the parts to install the swings. Hoping to have it completed next weekend!

The Monkey Bars are up! Now we are waiting on some parts to install the swings. Hopefully we can have this playset done by Sunday!

We are making progress on the playset. The fort is almost done. Hopefully the entire playset will be completed this weekend.

After broken parts, he's finally making some good progress on the playset. Hoping it will be finished this weekend.
Having a great time on vacation in Cocoa Beach Fl celebrating our 9 year wedding anniversary! Loving the family time!

We had a great time with the Easter Bunny! Angela even got a picture. Can't wait until next year when we have a child on each knee.
I can't wait! We are taking Ryan this weekend to an Easter Egg Hunt. Should be so much fun since he's old enough now to enjoy it! I guess we'll dye eggs on Sunday! woohoo!

We had a great family snow day yesterday. Unfortunately we only got 3 inches of snow but it was enough to build Ryan's first snowman. We can't wait until he has a brother or sister to build snowmen and have snow ball battles with!

Superbowl Sunday and our beloved Ravens are in the Superbowl!!! woohoo!!! We are having friends over to celebrate and watch the game. GO RAVENS!!!
Ryan said "love you" for the first time tonight and gave the biggest hug and sweetest smile. My heart melted. He is going to be a great big brother. Can't wait to make that happen.
Having an "Elmo" party tomorrow for Ryan's 2nd birthday. Can't wait til we are planning a birthday party for his sibling.
We started off the new year right with some family time. Took Happy and Ryan to the plane park to watch the airplanes come in and play on the playground. They both had a ball and are wiped! Nap time for everyone!

We had a great Christmas and are really looking forward to 2013 when we can bring our baby home and hang another stocking by the fireplace next Christmas.

We got our family pictures back and they turned out pretty good. Next year will be great when Ryan's brother or sister will be in the picture too and our family will be complete.
Getting family pictures taken on Saturday. Looking forward to next year when we will have a sibling for Ryan and our family will be complete. Our family picture will be complete with 4.
Had a great trip to Florida for Thanksgiving visiting Scott's parents. Went to the beach, dinner with friends, and the playground. Always nice to be home though.
Our homeowner's association finally approved the playset so Scott has been working all weekend to get it up. Really hoping he finishes before the weather turns cold for winter. But if not, it won't take long in the spring.

We went to an adoption party this weekend at one of those bouncy places. Ryan had a blast. Can't wait til next year when we get to celebrate our latest adoption!

We ordered the playset today and started leveling out the area. Should be delivered within two weeks. Can't wait for Ryan to start playing on it! Now we just need a sibling to play with him.
So excited, we measured the back yard today and will be ordering the new playset for the kids! Hoping to get it installed in the next few weeks so Ryan can enjoy before the weather get's cold.

Looking forward to the weekend. Having steamed crabs with friends. A MD tradition! Can't wait to introduce Ryan's brother or sister to this MD tradition the way we did with him last year!
So we tested out the Little Swimmers diapers in the pool yesterday. (Used them for 2 yrs but never had an "incident" before) I don't think their claim of "worry free" and special leak guard helps protect is correct. Let's just say we are now shocking the pool!

It was a rainy weekend so we took Ryan to one of those bouncy places to play. He loved it! He climbed all by himself up the ladder to slide down the slide and was eaten by a dinosaur. haha. All of the kids that were there are smiling!

We took Ryan to the park to play on the playground equipment. He's such a monkey! He had a blast! We can't wait until he has a brother or sister to share this with.
We took Ryan to the county fair last weekend. So much fun seeing the animals. He seemed to fancy the young blonde who was taking care of the cows. I think we are in trouble during his teenage years! Can't wait til next year when we are taking 2 children to the fair.
Ryan is making great progress with his swimming. He went underwater this weekend and wasn't afaid! We can't wait to share these fun times with his sibling!
Ryan's new "big boy" room is complete and he's settled in. The nursery is ready for his little brother or sister to make his/her debut!
Happy Mother's Day to all. Those expecting, those waiting for their special child, those faced with difficult decisions, those that have been blessed by adoption and those that have lost their mother's. Mother's day can be very bittersweet.
We went to the Hot Air Balloon festival for Preakness Fesitivities. It was so cool to see the balloons stand up. We even bought a miniture hot air balloon for Ryan's new room. Can't wait to go again next year with our entire family!
We are making great progress getting our son's new room ready so the nursery will be vacant and ready for our baby. We hope to have him settled in within 2 weeks. If our baby comes sooner he can always sleep in the pack n play. We are ready!
We were blessed by adoption in January 2011 and it is the most awesome thing ever! We are so in love with our son, Ryan, and are ready to expand our family and share that love with another child. We are excited to begin our adoption journey again.
Christmas is almost here and we are spending the holidays with family. We are still hoping for the best gift of all... for our baby to complete our family. But if it doesn't happen by Dec 31 what a great way to start the new year!!
The nursery is now complete decorated in Winnie the Pooh, we even had an awesome baby shower. We are stocked with everything we need for the baby. We are ready!!
We went to a party last night with our Families for Private Adoption Group. Loved hearing the success stories of other adoptive parents and sharing ideas with prospective parents. Great night!
The walls are painted in the nursery, dressers are in place and the toy chest that Scott's dad made for him as a child is in place also. The rocking chair that was mine as a child is in the room and the crib is assembled. We still need to hang the Winnie the Pooh border and valance. So, the nursery isn't completely finished but it is fully functional and ready for a baby!
We successfully completed our homestudy and received the approved report last week. The process actually wasn't as bad as everyone said. I guess since our home is only 7 years old we knew the the fire and safety inspections would be easy. Because we have great jobs our finances are in order and because of the past four years of struggling with infertility we are ready and eager to be parents. We are ready and eager to advertise and find our baby!
